IT Speaking Club is a community where people in and around tech practice spoken English. We run club sessions and programs, including Career English Track. We operate from Armenia.
Your privacy, in plain words.
This page describes how IT Speaking Club currently handles the personal data you send us through this website. It is not legal advice. We are not GDPR-certified — this is our practice, written honestly.
What we collect
When you apply, we keep the answers you send. That usually includes your first and last name, email, phone number, Telegram, LinkedIn (if you share it), how you heard about us, English level, whether you work in IT, and a short intro about yourself.
Career English Track Apply also asks for preferred format, city, and country. Facilitator applications on Careers also ask which role fits you, your experience, availability, and an optional video intro link.
Why we collect it
We use this information to process applications and to contact you about sessions, programs, and facilitator roles — by email and Telegram.
Where it lives
Applications go into Google Sheets: one sheet for club Join, one for Career / facilitate applications, and one for Career English Track Apply. Google hosts that data. Follow-up happens by email and Telegram, not through a separate member database on this site.
Who can see it
Club organizers who handle membership, programs, and facilitator applications. We do not sell your details.
How long we keep it
We keep your details as long as we need them to handle your application and, if you take part, your participation in the club. We do not use a fixed deletion date. If you want your data removed, email us and we’ll delete it.
Your rights
Email [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. That’s the same address we use for other club mail.
Armenia
We operate from Armenia. If the law that applies to you gives you extra rights, write to us at the same address and we’ll do our best to help.
